I never purchase anything without reading reviews and it come down between this one and another one because it folded down. It was more of a utility wagon anyway, but the reviews for this one kept saying how big it is and that unless you had a large vehicle you wouldn't have room to haul it. Well I didn't listen to it and bought it anyway. BEST WAGON EVER! It's not as big as other reviewers make it sound, but is definitely roomy and tons of storage space. My little girl was ecstatic over it. After I put it together (maybe 20 minutes total, (canopy took the longest for me because I couldn't figure out how to get the center brace to curve upward instead of downward. Lol) we took it on a 1 mile test run around the subdivision. There are hills where we live and it was very easy to pull. I had to hammer a little on the front wheels upon getting home to stop the washer from jingling so bad, but other than that it was great. My daughter couldn't decide on which seat to sit in and kept switching from seat to seat. :) other reviews also stated that it's easy to tip.... No, no it's not. I PURPOSELY TRIED to turn sharp to see if it would and nope. I think their problems were with the wheels being put on wrong. There is an R & L printed on the metal for the front wheels... Hard to see, but it's there. And if you are LOOKING at the wagon, it's not YOUR right and left, it's the opposite, as if you were in the wagon and looking at the handle bar and then it would be your right or left. The instructions clearly explain that, but it could easily be put on wrong if you DON'T read them. Haha. Anyway, this is an awesome wagon and we can't wait to take it to the Houston Zoo next weekend for her birthday. :) Look no further and BUY THIS WAGON, because my little one doesn't want to get out of it!! :)

We've had an earlier version of this Radio Flyer: Radio Flyer Ultimate Family WagonTM for nearly ten years now, and it has followed our family and towed our children through our neighborhood and schools, beach walkways, amusement parks, camps, farmer's markets...you name it- even to the grocery store. it looks as new as the day we bought it in 2007, and it has not faded at all, amazingly. we've even stored it outside for several summers now to move my garden supplies around since the kids have grown up, and it's holding up as well as ever. The wagon is easy to wash off with a hose, and it has been fine in the rain too, without any water getting into the internal body. even though our old Ultimate Family Wagon (UFW) did not have these new All-Terrain (AT) inflatable wheels, and instead had the hard, plastic-y ones, we've never had any issues with them. I was thrilled to be able to review this newer Radio Flyer, because i love our older UFW, and thought i could compare these for you. The bodies of the older UFW and this newer AT are exactly the same, with the same roomy interior, big enough for two 2-4 yos (approx) and a few supplies (one diaper bag with snacks, etc) between or behind them. When we purchased our UFW, it had bright blue seat backs and seatbelt straps, instead of the gray the current UFW and this AT model both seem to have. I liked the blue better, actually. Additionally, the UFW has a rounded sunscreen top vs. this AT's flattish shape. The primary difference i can see is in the vastly superior wheels of this AT, which are air-filled and thick, textured and rubbery like mini-car tires, which makes for a much smoother and comfortable ride for your kids, pets (or plants), and you can even "off-road" a bit :). Since the price for the UFW is twenty dollars less than the AT at $169, you'd be paying $5 per tire for the upgrade, which i think is worth it. I took pics of the assembly of the AT body, which did not take too long (about 30 minutes), because it just consists of putting on the axles/tires to have a basic working wagon (i did not add the seatbelt or canopy on this AT, but we did have them on our UFW, and they worked great). The long black pull handle and seats come pre-attached. The trick is to make sure you match up the marked right and left metal wheel axles to their respective sides on the wagon body. The two metal axles, shaped a bit like big hooks, are engraved with part numbers plus an "L" and an "R" into the black metal (i tried to take a pic of this next to the parts shown on the instruction manual), and they both attach to the side with the long black pull handle. There is also an "L" and "R" embossed into the red wagon body housing on the bottom (hopefully you can see this in the pics as well), to help you get the left and right sides correctly matched. Also, don't forget to add the washers and plastic housing/spacers per the directions. There is one washer per wheel (4 all together), and 4 white plastic housing pieces for the hook-shaped axles (2 each), and 2 black plastic spacers for the long, across the body axle rod. They provide 5 red end caps you hammer on (i used a rubber mallet), but which cannot be taken off without breaking them- so you need to get this right the first time for the most part- they provide one extra 5th end cap in case you make one mistake! I highly recommend this for any family, with or without children. You'll find that you end up using this great wagon for a lot of different chores, but kids and pets love to ride in it as well.

This is a seriously awesome wagon. Pros Excellent maneuverability (turns sharp corners with ease) Great all terrain wheels (grass mud and gravel are not a problem for this beast) Easy to assemble canopy (offers great Sun coverage) Versatile seating/storage options (we keep one side folded down and use it as a footrest/picnic table) Cons Awkward seatbelt (our 13mo is a bit of a wiggle worm and the seatbelt is relatively low and wide set. Not easy to get out of but she has been close to escaping) Bulky (obviously this is not the standard Radio Flyer. With all the bells and whistles, some bulk is to be expected but it is a little on the heavy side) Overall this wagon is Awesome. By far one of the best I've ever used. The heavy duty Wheels and awesome maneuverability make it a winner for me. The easily removable awning puts it over the top. It's definitely a bit expensive but definitely worth it for something we will used frequently and have forever.

OK. So when my wife told me she wanted a wagon that cost $160, slamming my head into the wall sounded like a better idea.... Two days later (thanks Amazon Prime!) we had a lovely box of wagon parts in my living room! It doesnt take a rocket surgeon to assemble it, however I recommend actually looking at the instructions. In typical Dad fashion, I set about assembling it by intuition and grit alone. After boogering up one front wheel install, I decided the Ikea-ish instructions might be used to my advantage. After that it was relatively smooth sailing. Upon completion, I strapped my son in (10 months) and his older cousin (3 years) climbed in, threw the wife over my shoulder, killed a sabretooth tiger, and off we went for a romp around the neighborhood. It pulled very smooth, handled our off-road (grass) excursion like a champ, and had plenty of storage for my niece's stuff, her baby-doll and all her stuff, as well as the wife's purse and some water bottles. All that and we didnt even use the attached storage bag in the back. The wheels are not hard plastic, as some other reviewers have said, but are a foam rubber type of material. Not sure how someone could confuse the two, but there are special people everywhere... At the end of the day, I am very happy with the deflation of my wallet for this epic chariot for the offspring, and would recommend it to anyone looking to haul their minions around, whether that be to the park, the beach, the zoo, the salt flats, a lunar surface or any other place you may venture to. Happy Wagonning!

I can't say enough good things about this wagon! We use this wagon every day and it has stayed as nice as it was the first day we got it. It is so easy to pull and move the seats around. My husband and I are very tall 6'4" and 5'10" and we can comfortably stroll around the block with this sturdy wagon. Love love love it!

This is one of the best things we ever got for our twins. We got it when they were 12 months old. They were early walkers (started at 10 months) so they needed to be restrained when we were out and about. The girls are 19 months now and this is still their favorite when the weather allows it. They love facing each other. We love the canopy to keep out the sun and have had no issues with it. The seat pads ride up sometimes and that's a little annoying, but that's it. We use it on a bike path near our house, so it's easy, paved terrain, and this is perfect for that. We keep it in the garage, assembled and ready to go. Before we got this we used the Bob Duallie for all our walks but the girls prefer this by a LOT. They can sit up and see everything and each other, vs. the Bob where they are sitting back and can't see much and are much more harnessed in. They have started fighting us about using the Bob for these reasons. They last much longer on walks in this stroller. I don't find it uncomfortable to pull at all. We used the 3 part harness until recently, now we just use the lap belt part. If you have twins, get it!

1 year old baby girl 5 year old very tall boy They both love it

So huge and roomy! My 6yr old Son who's about 60lbs.. And my 2yr old daughter who's a good 25lbs.. Can both fit very comfortably.. Very easy to pull, my 90lb autistic son has even rode in it by himself.. I would definitely recommend this wagon before all others, if you want something that will last for years, this is the wagon to get! The tires are so fat and real... Like a cars tires!

Are you comparing wagons? Wondering if this one is worth the extra money? We decided to go with this wagon because of the upgraded wheels ;and the canopy. Both are worth it! Go with this one. Assembly wasn't hard. We don't have a big SUV, we drive a Honda H-RV, which has a smaller "trunk" space than the CRV, and this wagon fit right into the back. But the wagon is still big enough to comfortably fit our 5 1/2 yr old and some stuff. We bought the seat cushions and storage bag from Radio Flyer later, and I highly recommend the seat cushions as the passenger won't slide around so much like they would on the hard plastic. When we went to a festival our son slipped one right off and used it as a cushion on the grass...good idea! The storage bag is kind of awkward-looking but if you need it, it does work well. The wheels go well on cement, grass, and gravel. Nice and quiet, too. Canopy is positioned well and kept our munchkin in the shade.

Info about my children: My daughter, Twilight - was born in October 2015 - she is almost 40lbs My son, Midnight - was born in July 2018 - almost 20lbs We loved everything about this except it's really hard to pull and push. Manuevering this is very tough unfortunately. Especially if you live in Seattle where there's a lot of hills. Maybe it's not as hard for mothers and fathers who work out their arm muscles. I don't even exercise, I considered myself physically weak. I was so excited getting this, but it's definitely hard to move this. I don't mind taking this to the event though. We have side by side stroller, double stroller that is long like a train. We like all of them, depends on the location. This is great on grass. I love that I can insert the Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speaker in the cup holder. The leg room is great! The seats are not that comfortable if you have your child sit on it for more than 2 hours, I advise to somehow make a cushion for the bottom. My children both love it though.
